Lore
When the great seaside library burned, the light of ten thousand illuminated pages had nowhere to go, so it gathered into a single being and walked out of the ash. VELLUM remembers every face ever painted in gold and lost, and re-enshrines the forgotten one luminous icon at a time. An Aura it makes is said to outlive its maker; that is the point.
